This online marketplace connects Riders with Ride Pals, who drive people around or accompany people who need assistance for grocery shopping, doctor and hospital visits, getting vaccine shots, filling prescriptions etc.

c. PalUpNow! Reminders
PalUpNow! Reminders lets you create up to three (3) mobile SMS alerts at once for yourself or your loved ones. These reminders are private gentle nudges, and don't require a response from the recipient.
You could create reminders yourself or have your friends, family, Ride Pals or Flight Pals set them up for you.

Our bots don't interact to offer friendship or emotional support. They do not sustain ongoing relationships or elicit emotional responses.

We're a rare trailblazing marketplace and we leverage botonomy and botonomics at global scale to enable Pals to keep 💯% of their earnings.

For two reasons:
1. We would like to provide elderly and physically/mentally impaired people a seamless experience by removing the hassle of creating accounts and then having to remember passwords. More often than not, they tend to forget their passwords, and then face difficulties in resetting them, only to forget them again.
While we are proud that most of you can navigate apps with ease, we sincerely request you to empathize with others who can't. You don't want the technologically-challenged people to get frustrated with accounts and passwords, and then give up, do you?
2. And that's not all.
Cybersecurity threats have wreaked havoc. Despite their best effort, companies have succumbed to these threats and their customers have had their personal information stolen from their secure accounts. PalUpNow! doesn't want to store your sensitive details any longer than we have to. This limits your exposure, and protects us as well.

When you sign up to be a Pal or to get a Pal, you'll get a match alert in your email introducing you to your potential partners. Your potential partners also get emailed with your contact information and preferences.
If you don't get matched, no action is needed on your part. We will keep an eye for future matches, and will email you.
If you provide your phone number during sign-up, you'll also get an SMS alert on your mobile phone. You don't have to share your phone number if you don't want to. Email is mandatory.
PalUpNow! match alert emails are in English. You could use the translation services provided by your email provider, like Gmail and Outlook. In general, you can use translation services like Google Translate or DeepL.

We understand that you may sign up multiple times with different requirements. Naturally, you would like your name, email address, phone number, age range, pronouns, occupation, and similar information to be pre-populated when you sign up a second time, and every time after that.
We enable you to clone your profile with a single click. We embed this 1-click link in your welcome email as soon as you sign up. We also embed this clone link in other relevant emails, like your profile deletion email.
Members who provide their mobile number while signing up receive this link via mobile SMS.
You might also want to use a different email address or a different phone number in your new profiles. You can do so easily by cloning your existing profile, and making necessary edits before signing up again.
We have done away with accounts and passwords. You don't have to remember yet another password and log into your account to see your historical data.
So, does that mean you can't see your history? Not at all.
Your past activity is associated with reviews we receive. On the 1st day of every month, we automatically deliver your past activity straight to your inbox. If needed, we can tune the frequency of the emails.
We can also email relevant information concerning you, like a list of community members who've mentioned you as their referrer while signing up.
We fortify the member identification process with a security code, that works just like a PIN (Personal Identification Number) verification or an OTP (One-time password).
This security code is unique to every pal up. Digital security is just as important as physical security, and so these security codes are applicable for contactless matches as well.
We embed this security code inside your match alert email. If you provide your mobile number while signing up, we send this security code via mobile SMS.

When you sign up, an ID is automatically generated by PalUpNow! that serves as your unique identifier.

For your privacy and safety, PalUpNow! doesn't display your real name on your anonymized profile, and uses an alias instead, like "rose".
While signing up, choose an alias that you'll remember easily.

If you're not satisfied with our service, you can contact us and we'll try to address your issue(s).
Otherwise, you can temporarily deactivate your profile on our self-serve platform. We'll pause your match alerts. If you have multiple profiles, you may choose to deactivate some or all.
For your convenience, your personalized 1-click deactivation link is embedded in your welcome email as soon as you sign up.
Once you deactivate, your personalized 1-click reactivation link is embedded in your deactivation confirmation email.
When you're ready, reactivate your profile. No activation fee.
If you have multiple profiles, you may choose to reactivate some or all.

Otherwise, you can delete your profile on our self-serve platform. We'll stop your match alerts. If you have multiple profiles, you may choose to delete some or all.
We understand that some people do not speak/write English.
We're based in the United States and are global citizens. Our web app supports languages around the world. Just switch to your preferred language.
In addition, some of our social media channels (marked "Multilingual") offer translations in 70+ languages.

You have a right to know how your personal information is handled. This is known as a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR). A Data Subject is a living individual who is the subject of Personal Data. If you wish to make a DSAR, you may do so by filling up this form, to exercise your privacy rights. We will get in touch via email.
If we do not receive sufficient information to locate the data you require or if the scope of your request is unclear, we may have to contact you for additional details or we may be unable to comply with your request. Therefore, to help us process your request quickly and efficiently, please provide us with as much details as is possible.
PalUpNow! anonymizes profiles and reviews to protect your privacy.
We delete member profiles in accordance with the data retention clause in our Privacy Policy.
We don't delete reviews. However, we de-identify them by stripping them of your personal information so that they can't be tied back to you.
PalUpNow! protects the real identity of our members, since people with accessibility issues and mental health challenges don’t always feel comfortable asking for support in public forums.
PalUpNow! empowers them by anonymizing their web profiles. Anonymized profiles do not expose personally identifiable information (PII), like name, email, phone, age range, and pronouns. PII is shared privately over email only after a potential match is detected.
PalUpNow! anonymizes and eventually de-identifies Flights and Rides reviews to protect your privacy.
An anonymized review gets de-identified when:
a. all members, associated with the review, choose to delete their anonymized profiles
b. we delete all member profiles, associated with the review, in accordance with the data retention clause in our Privacy Policy.

Every time you sign up, an anonymized profile gets created with a unique ID, and a confirmation email gets sent to you.
For example, you can request a Ride Pal on two separate occasions:
a. First, with the alias "Hungry, but not angry!" and get matched for a 2-way ride to get your groceries this coming weekend.
b. Second, with the alias "Fitter is better!" and get matched for a virtual session with a fitness coach the following weekend.
Also, you could request a Flight Pal when you fly.
We recommend you use a different alias every time you sign up to maintain anonymity, especially if you've revealed your current alias.
However, if this isn't a concern, you can use the same alias multiple times. Remember to choose an alias that you can easily remember.
