PalUpNow! Reminders lets you create up to three mobile SMS alerts at once for yourself or your loved ones. These reminders are private gentle nudges, and don't require a response from the recipient. 

The recipient receives SMS alerts on their mobile phone and reminder emails if the sender shares their email. 

The sender receives an email confirmation when the SMS alerts go out to the recipient.

You could create reminders yourself or have your friends, family, Ride Pals or Flight Pals set them up for you. It takes a few minutes.

Our community guidelines outline the standards and expectations for everyone on the PalUpNow! platform. These help people understand what is expected of them and how they should engage within the community. We intend these guidelines to create a welcoming space for all members.

SMS, or Short Message Service, is a standard messaging service for mobile phones.

PalUpNow! Reminders are for vulnerable people, who forget to take care of life essentials.

Vulnerable people can forget to:

1. Take their medication during travel, or exams, or when they're stressed/sick. This can lead to dire health consequences.

2. Refill their prescription medication.

3. Take important documents during travel. This further aggravates travel anxiety.

4. Place a food order, grocery order, and other orders.

5. Pay bills, and consequently lose service and/or pay penalties/fines.

Or, any other life essential that you can think of. 

However, these reminders can be used by anyone who needs help in remembering critical time-sensitive tasks.

In the introductory version, the sender could be anywhere in the world, while using PalUpNow! Reminders for recipients in the United States, Canada, India, or Singapore. 

We plan to increase coverage in more continents around the world.

With a unique ID, members can check the status of their reminders anonymously in the web app. 

Inactive reminders are laced in gray.

Yes. 

We understand that circumstances might have changed since the reminders were created. This is especially true since members occasionally create reminders for dates that are far out. Hence, snoozing becomes necessary.

Both the sender and receiver of PalUpNow! Reminders can now snooze any of the three reminders in a set independently of the other two.

Once a reminder is sent, Remy enables the snooze option for the sender inside their confirmation email.

When a reminder is received, Remy enables snoozing for the recipient inside their mobile SMS, and also their email if the sender shares the recipient's email when they created the reminder set.

Moreover, senders and receivers can alter the reminder message when snoozing, and even redirect the reminder to another person if needed. This adds even greater flexibility.

Yes. 

If you wish to pause the reminder set you've created, consider deactivating it. If you have created multiple reminder sets, you may choose to deactivate some or all. 

You can reactivate the sets with no fee. It may not make sense to reactivate if all reminders in the set have expired.

You can delete the reminder sets you create. If you have created multiple reminder sets, you may choose to delete some or all.

Our self-serve platform enables you to deactivate or delete your anonymized reminder(s) any time. If you have created multiple reminders, you may choose to deactivate/delete some or all.

Even if you forget to take action, we have you covered. To protect your privacy, we will automatically delete your reminder(s) one year later. You'll receive a notification by email.
